Dreamland Safari Tours turns twenty-five this year, and we would like to spend part of November with the people who got us here: our guests, our neighbors in Kanab, and our friends.
So we are hosting three free community events. Two Friday evenings at the Dreamland Office, with films and stories from Paul and from Sunny, who between them have spent a lifetime on rock, ice and trail. And one Saturday night party on the stage at the Best Friends Roadhouse, with live music, a food truck and the live drawing for our anniversary giveaway.
Come to one, two or all three. Pick the events you want below, tell us how many are coming, and we will email you a confirmation.
All free. Please RSVP so we know how many chairs to set out.
On October 19, 2026, Paul climbed El Capitan at 66, his 43rd ascent of that 3,000-foot wall. Come hear how a life of climbing began in Yosemite Valley and took him to Baffin Island, and watch the short film Land of Giants before he tells the rest in person.
We've got space for 30 people. Get on the list now.
Sunny has finished the 1,000-mile Iditarod Trail race, and this past July she walked east to west through the Grand Canyon in 115-degree heat. Hear the stories from the depth of Alaska and the bottom of the Canyon, and how you plan a route where being more than a few hundred yards from water can kill you.

A quarter century of getting people out into the real desert deserves a proper night out. Join the Dreamland crew on the stage at the Best Friends Roadhouse for live music from Gundy & The Gurus, a food truck, drinks and a lot of familiar faces.
Free · registration required to get in (a guest list lets us serve alcohol)
Dreamland turns twenty-five this year, and Paul and Sunny have had the keys for six of those years. This is our thank-you to the guides, guests and neighbors who made it twenty-five.
Dancing on the lawn, 20th anniversary, 2021. Yes, that's Paul in there. No, that's not Sunny: she was probably behind the camera.
